Mayor explains new Cleveland Utilities maintenance contract for cannery lights

Mayor Davis reported on a recently approved resolution authorizing a Cleveland Utilities contract for maintenance and LED conversion of four lights at the cannery. He said the lights previously cost about $15 each (roughly $60 per month total) and that the new maintenance agreement will raise the monthly charge to $143 but will also cover LED conversion and replacement when fixtures fail. "They're changing all of the lights out to be LED lights. They'll be repaired and replaced whenever needed," the mayor said.
