The board approved several facilities-related items in a single block of votes on July 28. Administration recommended Payment Application No. 3 to TADCO Roofing for roof replacement work at Mercedes High School Gym and Sgt. William Harrell Elementary, noting the project was "about 95% substantially completed." Trustees also approved FSG as the electrical contractor to supply upgrades for the Tiger Stadium scoreboard and awarded five firms for professional engineering services for the 2026–27 year; all motions passed 5-0.
