A presenter told the board Aug. 17 that a volunteer group—including the Londonderry Arts and Historical Society, Community Power Londonderry and other local stakeholders—completed an engineering design study to build a flood‑resistant foundation for the Squeaks House, described in the presentation as one of the town’s oldest buildings. The presenter said the group plans to apply for a Village Trust Initiative (VTI/BTI) grant and requested a non‑monetary letter of support or endorsement from the board; the application requires an endorsement by the community but not town financial support.
