The Pocopson Township Board of Supervisors on March 23 conditionally approved a Special Events Permit for Chester County Velo to hold a USA Cycling–sanctioned road race on May 17, 2026. Scott Gamble, representing the organizer, described a 2.5‑mile loop that will start and finish at Pocopson Park, use rolling closures, employ volunteer marshals and pace vehicles, and rely on a lead and tail vehicle for safety.
