Planning Board approves Mattessich Iron site plan for 1484 Route 31
The Town of Elbridge Planning Board voted unanimously March 11 to issue a SEQRA negative declaration and approve the site plan for Mattessich Iron at 1484 Route 31, a project the board said will add an addition to the larger building, remove a smaller building and is expected to create roughly 10–12 jobs.

On March 11, 2025, the Town of Elbridge Planning Board unanimously approved the site plan for Mattessich Iron at 1484 Route 31 after concluding a SEQRA review. The board recorded that a variance had already been obtained on the Thruway side of the property and that the proposal would add to the larger building while demolishing the smaller building. The applicant estimated the project would create about 10–12 jobs in office and installation roles.
