At a Hidalgo County Commissioners Court workshop, county staff reviewed the draft 2027 road and bridge budget, reporting estimated revenues of $13,100,000, an estimated fund balance of $10,600,000 and transfers totaling $30,200,000 for a combined $53,900,000 in available resources for the road and bridge fund. County Judge Richard Cortez presided; the figures were presented by a county staff presenter who led the workshop discussion.
