Board reopens long-running Mountain View Boulevard application; hearing continued to Sept. 8
The board heard extensive testimony on the amended site plan for AMSAC/Amzac Basking Ridge LLC (PB26-00002): applicant described completed foundations and stormwater basins, minor unit-mix changes, added balconies and rooftop amenity. The Bernards Township Planning Board opened a multi-hour hearing on an amended preliminary and final site plan for AMSAC (Amzac) Basking Ridge LLC concerning development at Mountain View Boulevard. Attorney Tom Malman recounted the 2020 approval for 280 units (220 apartments and 60 townhomes) and explained Amzac's proposed amendments: modest architectural refinements, added balconies, some bedroom‑mix adjustments and consolidation of amenity spaces into a clubhouse with a rooftop amenity deck.
