The Covington I.S.D. Board voted to adopt the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB) Localized Policy Manual Update 127, approving revisions to multiple local policies. The motion, made by J.D. Kaye and seconded by Cody Nickell, covered policies including BJCF(LOCAL) (superintendent nonrenewal), CAA(LOCAL) (fiscal management and financial ethics), DC(LOCAL) (employment practices), DH(LOCAL) (employee standards of conduct), DP/DPB/DPA (personnel positions), EHBB(LOCAL) (gifted and talented), and FFF(LOCAL) (student safety).
