The board considered TASB Policy Services Update 126 on second reading at the Nov. 17 meeting. The update package listed a lengthy set of local policy codes under consideration, including policy areas such as board meetings and public participation (BE/BED), contracted services/background checks (CJ/CJA), facilities and safety (CSA/CV), cybersecurity and artificial intelligence (CQB/CQD), and a broad set of student-welfare and instructional policies (FA, FEF, FO, etc.).
