Superintendent Kenneth Hall briefed the board on recent state legislation, saying SB 8 takes effect Dec. 4 and will require districts to designate "each multi‑occupancy private space in a building owned, operated, or controlled by the district for use only by individuals of one sex, which is defined by biological sex either male or female."
