At its July 16 meeting the Damon ISD Board of Trustees unanimously accepted resignations from four teachers: Heather Morales, Tyrondria Rowe, Amanda Beshears and Clint Stroud; trustees recorded the vote as 5–0.

The Damon Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously July 16 to accept the resignations of four teachers. Trustee Nicole Pitz made the motion "I move to accept the resignations of teachers Ms. Heather Morales, Ms. Tyrondria Rowe, Ms. Amanda Beshears, and Mr. Clint Stroud," which was seconded by Trustee Snoopy Long and carried by a 5–0 vote.
