Board approves MOU with Commit Partnership to support teacher certification pathway
The board unanimously approved a no-cost Memorandum of Understanding with Commit Partnership to fund a certification pathway lead, TExES preparation support and Teacher Incentive Allotment assistance from August 2026–June 2027.

Pamela Brown Wynn presented a proposed Memorandum of Understanding between Duncanville ISD and Commit Partnership to support uncertified educators in meeting Texas certification requirements. She told the board the partnership "will provide TExES, that's the teacher certification preparation support, resources for teachers seeking certification" and will include a certification pathway lead and professional learning supports.
