Following a presentation from Region 16 representatives, trustees authorized Superintendent Jessica Weinette to execute a three-year R-PEP performance agreement under Texas Education Code 29.912; an MOU will be prepared with district counsel.

Representatives from Region 16 Education Service Center presented R-PEP (Rural Pathway Excellence Partnership) information to the board, and trustees voted to authorize the superintendent to finalize and execute a three-year performance agreement under Texas Education Code 29.912. The motion authorizing participation was made by Kay Duke, seconded by Nick Durfey, and passed 6-0 with one trustee absent.
