Damon ISD board approves Prosperity Bank as district depository
The Damon ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved a public bid to award depository and banking services to Prosperity Bank. The bank's proposal includes variable interest rates (NOW account rate + 0.60% for checking and posted rates + 0.35% for money market tiers) and waiver of fees, and a standard depository contract was incorporated into the packet.

The Damon Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously May 21 to accept the public bid and designate Prosperity Bank as the district’s depository for school funds. The motion to approve Prosperity Bank was made by Vice President Ami George and seconded by Trustee Virginia Morris; the vote was 5–0.
