During the reconvened open session, the Devine ISD Board approved extensions of professional contracts for the 2026–2027 school year as recommended by Superintendent Dr. Todd Grandjean. The motion to extend contracts was made by Trustee Keri James and seconded by Trustee Candace Esparza; the vote passed 6-0 with Trustee Carl Brown absent.
