Officials preview town hall and draft documents for Springtown 2040 comprehensive plan update
Staff said a state grant will fund a full comprehensive-plan update; draft land-use and thoroughfare plans will be posted around Sept. 8 with a public town hall scheduled for Sept. 15 to gather community feedback.

Staff told the Planning and Zoning Commission the city secured a state grant to update the comprehensive plan and related documents, including the master thoroughfare plan, subdivision and zoning ordinances, and the future land use map. Work to date includes a spring survey, an initial town hall and two advisory-committee meetings; staff said the second town hall is planned for Sept. 15 and draft documents should be uploaded online about a week before for public review.
