CCSD 89 board holds closed session for self-evaluation with IASB representative

The Community Consolidated School District 89 Board of Education at its Jan. 28, 2026 special meeting voted to enter closed session pursuant to 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(16) for "self-evaluation, practices and procedures or professional ethics" while meeting with a representative of a statewide association. Member Steffens moved the motion and Member Wilmarth Tyna seconded; a roll-call vote carried the motion and the minutes record the board entering closed session at 6:02PM. IASB Field Services Director Dr. Arlana Bedard was listed as present for that portion of the meeting.
