County finance staff reported a projected budget deficit for the 2026/2027 fiscal year. Walker Filbert handed out calculations showing a deficit "at approximately $346,844," while a separate calculation attributed to Derek showed a higher estimate of $657,423 depending on whether health insurance reimbursements were included.
