Council approves migration and cloud licensing for squad/body camera system
The council authorized migration of the police department's squad and body-camera management system to a new platform, including licenses, cloud storage and professional services; the chief said the current system is at end-of-life.

The police chief told council the department's recording system has reached end-of-life and budgeted funds are in place for a migration to a new vendor and software platform. "Last year, we were advised by Bacom that our system is gonna be at the end of life, the end of this year," the chief said, and staff requested approval to purchase software licenses, cloud storage and professional services now.
