Wallowa Resources staff presented updates to the county's 2026 Community Wildfire Protection Plan during the Aug. 5 Board of Commissioners meeting. Katy Nesbitt and Elena Cessler reported that requested corrections were completed: risk assessments were updated and several map/visual changes were made, including converting numeric risk ratings to verbal descriptors.
