During the agenda’s public-comment period Libby Klatt signaled she would speak about Board Business Item A (the Director of Schools contract extension). Later, during comments not on the agenda, Board Chair Jim Kirk addressed Ms. Klatt directly, thanking her for speaking and saying the board was following guidelines in a process the district was using for the first time.
