After returning to open session at 9:57 a.m., the Simpson County Fiscal Court authorized recruitment for an open Planning & Zoning (P&Z) position. East Magistrate Marty Chandler moved to authorize advertising through local media and any necessary hiring platforms; South Magistrate Myron Thurman seconded the motion and the court recorded a unanimous 'Yes-All' vote.
