The Suffolk County Legislature approved the omnibus 2027–2029 Capital Program (BA 01) during its June 2 meeting, voting to advance and increase funding for priority projects while deferring lower‑priority items. Presiding Officer Piccirillo said the Working Group on both sides of the aisle "were able to right‑size this budget while prioritizing critical infrastructure and making sure that every department has the ability to build itself out in a responsible way to the taxpayers of this County." The motion to adopt BA 01 passed with the full roll call recorded as "Eighteen."
