Fillmore County commissioners on Aug. 4 approved reinvesting a matured $1,000,000 certificate of deposit for 12 months with MAGIC at a 4.21% annual percentage yield. The approved motion, made by Commissioner Duane Bakke and seconded by Commissioner Mitch Lentz, passed with Commissioners Bakke, Lentz and Randy Dahl voting yes and Commissioner Marc Prestby voting no.
