Perkiomen Flood Study flags undersized culvert on West 3rd Avenue in Trappe
Engineers told Council the only Flood Study location inside the borough is an undersized, impacted drainage culvert on West 3rd Avenue; final planning report approval will open grant opportunities for mitigation work.

During the engineering report at the Dec. 2 meeting, Isett reviewed the Perkiomen Flood Study and identified an undersized and impacted drainage culvert on West 3rd Avenue as the sole Flood Study location inside Trappe Borough. Engineers said once the planning report is approved, municipalities will be eligible to pursue grant funding to conduct mitigation improvements at identified locations.
