Magistrate Orders Colbert Consulting Trust to Obtain Rental Permit, Sets July 6 Compliance Deadline
The Special Magistrate found a Colbert Consulting trust property in noncompliance for offering a unit for rent without a Town permit, ordered submission of a rental permit application and completion of inspection by July 6, 2026, and assessed a $250 administrative fee.

At the June 22 hearing, Code Compliance Manager Mr. Hooker told Special Magistrate Chloe Berryman that staff identified a rental listing for 4535 South Atlantic Avenue Apt. #2102 (Colbert Consulting Inc. Trust, c/o Donald Colbert) on April 1, 2026 and that the property remained advertised after a courtesy letter and application deadline. Staff reported certified mail was returned and recommended a finding of violation.
