Commissioners table decision on museum expansion financing after cost increase

County administration and the project architect presented updated contractor bids and a financing-gap recommendation for a museum addition and renovation. Administrator Michael Basonic said the project cost was reduced by $455,000 from the latest estimate but still exceeded earlier projections; staff outlined three options to cover the shortfall: use general fund reserves, use the delinquent tax revolving fund (about $12 million surplus described in packet), or a mix of both.
