Springfield awards $187,640.50 contract for August road work
The Springfield Township Board unanimously awarded a $187,640.50 contract to Asphalt Industries to tar-and-chip four roads between Aug. 1–31, 2026, after approving routine finance items earlier in the meeting.

The Springfield Township Board of Supervisors voted unanimously April 28 to award the 2026 Road Contract to Asphalt Industries for $187,640.50. The contract covers tar-and-chip surfacing on Springtown Hill Road, Highpoint Road, Ebert Road and Hickon Road, to be performed between Aug. 1 and Aug. 31, 2026.
