During new business a commissioner distributed a draft resolution proposing a moratorium on certain "nuclear power systems," defined in the draft as facilities that produce electricity from heat created when atoms are split, whether above- or below-ground. The draft states the moratorium would run concurrently with an existing moratorium and be effective until Dec. 31, 2026.
