The Tionesta Borough garbage service contract is set to expire Aug. 1, 2025; Secretary Cynthia S. Crytzer issued a request for proposals for a three-year contract. Two vendors — Waste Management and Tri-County Industries — submitted bids. Crytzer said she has posed clarifying questions to both vendors and will present finalized results to the council at the next meeting.
