Elm Street sewer project expected to move forward after ARC funding commitment
TMA reported the ARC indicated it will grant additional funds needed for the Elm Street sewer line project if the Authority's match waiver is accepted; final ARC approval is expected soon and contracts with the lowest bidder (Terra Works) will follow.

At its June 19 meeting, Tionesta council heard from TMA representative Tom Mohney that the Authority met June 17 to award the Elm Street sewer project and that the Appalachian Regional Commission (ARC) has indicated it will provide the additional funding required. Mohney said the ARC requested a match-waiver letter (which Secretary Cynthia S. Crytzer prepared); if accepted by the ARC, the Authority's match requirement would not increase and the ARC would cover the shortfall.
