Perth board asks state and county for help after repeated crashes at Stairs Road intersection
The Town of Perth passed a resolution asking state and county agencies and local legislators to help improve safety at Stairs Road and County Highway 126, citing "numerous accidents occurring on a regular basis."

The Town of Perth Board on Sept. 4 passed a resolution requesting assistance from Fulton County Department of Highways and Facilities, NYSDOT, the Fulton County Traffic Safety Board, local law enforcement and state legislators to address frequent crashes at the intersection of Stairs Road and County Highway 126. The resolution states the request is being made “as a result of numerous accidents occurring on a regular basis.”
