Council adds targeted capital and facilities projects to 2025–2026 budget

Councilmembers approved adding a set of targeted projects to the 2025–2026 budget during the Sept. 22 meeting. The list included $5,000 for a Public Works budget line, $6,500 for an automatic gate, $1,100 for lights and ceiling tile replacement in council chambers, $4,500 for rock base for a drive-through gate, $1,200 for three poles with light and base, and $500 for a printer/scanner/copier. Councilmember Scherri Holmes moved to add the projects and Councilmember Janelle Davis seconded; the motion carried with all in favor.
