The Oak Ridge City Council approved several routine items during its Oct. 14 meeting. Scherri Holmes moved and Janelle Davis seconded approval of the council meeting minutes; Mayor Pro Tem Jimmy Quick abstained while all other members voted in favor and the motion carried.
