Piermont board forms Comprehensive Plan Update Committee, names volunteer chair
The Board passed a resolution to form a Comprehensive Plan Update Committee and indicated retired planner Molly McQueen will chair the committee to review zoning and built-environment items removed from the prior plan for lack of environmental study funding.

Mayor Nathan Mitchell asked the Board to establish a Comprehensive Plan Update Committee to revisit items omitted when Piermont's current Comprehensive Plan was adopted because environmental impact studies were not budgeted. He said residents had volunteered to serve and that retired planner Molly McQueen had agreed to chair.
