Township OKs $1,500 share to buy Incident Command Box with Mount Pocono

Emergency Management Coordinator Rich Gannon asked the Board to approve purchase of an Incident Command Box after using one during a recent incident; he said Mount Pocono Borough agreed to split the cost. Gannon told the board the box would cost no more than $3,000 and that each municipality would pay half. The Board authorized Gannon to buy the box with Paradise Township’s share capped at $1,500; the motion passed 3-0.
