Council reviewed several code-enforcement items during the Feb. 18 meeting. The minutes report that Tim Nixon’s estate is continuing to be handled by Attorney Jim Fenchel and that the previously promised remediation of a bamboo problem has not occurred. The minutes also note that "Mrs. Amberson’s house also needs to be cited as a 'blighted property.'" Solicitor Nate Morgan was tasked to bring a draft ordinance creating an occupancy permit.
