The City of Simonton recorded a series of public information requests in March and April 2026. Requests include: a 3/17/2026 request for communications between Councilmember Eric Duhon and several named individuals; multiple 4/7–4/8/2026 requests for city documents related to the property at 221 Stockade (including video, audio, photos and correspondence and permitting records); permit requests for several addresses; and a request for audited financial statements and audit-related documentation as required by Texas Local Government Code Section 103.001.
