Mayor outlines TXDOT Mobility Project timeline, drainage work and sand-mining review

Mayor Laurie Boudreaux updated the council on several transportation and infrastructure items. She said the Texas Department of Transportation projects the Mobility Project will begin in 2027 and that the city will hold two public meetings to present different roadway construction options. Mayor Boudreaux directed residents to sign up for Nixle alerts (text 888777) to receive traffic updates and noted the Twinwood FM 1093 drainage project is planned.
