Simonton appoints Zoning Advisory Committee; council designates liaisons
The council approved Resolution 2026-01 appointing six members to a Zoning Advisory Committee and accepted the city attorney's recommendation that the mayor and two councilmembers serve as nonvoting liaisons.

Mayor Laurie Boudreaux read Resolution 2026-01 appointing CJ Aber, Chris Forrest, Barbara Minton, Kristi Jose Pineda, Joe Brooks and Erica Molina to the City of Simonton's Zoning Advisory Committee. A motion to approve the resolution was made by Councilmember Angela King and seconded by Councilmember Kelli Carlson; the minutes record the motion passing unanimously.
