Robert Link of Atlas Township urged the Genesee County Board of Commissioners to cancel the county’s contract with Flock Safety, asking that the cameras be removed and not replaced by another vendor. Link described the cameras as "mass surveillance" that collect personal location data and said the only safe option is not to collect the data at all.
