The Town Board on Aug. 3 voted to declare itself lead agency for SEQRA review and issued a Negative Declaration for the decommissioning of the existing Noble/Valcour Chateaugay Windpark, concluding that the proposed decommissioning will not have significant adverse environmental impacts and that a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) is not required.
