The Town of Union board on Aug. 13 approved several planning- and grant-related actions: adoption of the FFY 2025–2026 CDBG/HOME program budget for submission to HUD by Aug. 15, 2025; authorization for the supervisor, planning director, deputy planning director, and code enforcement to sign documents required for a FEMA Community Rating System (CRS) program application; and authorization for the planning director to advertise RFPs for construction projects identified in the approved CDBG/HOME annual plan. The board also set a public hearing for Sept. 3, 2025 to receive public input on the town comprehensive plan.
