Kermit ISD board sets finalist interview times for Sept. 8–9
Trustee Lorina Lujan successfully moved to schedule interviews for the four superintendent finalists: two on Sept. 8 and two on Sept. 9, with specified one-hour slots and 10-minute intervals between sessions.

During open session on Aug. 27 the Kermit ISD Board of Trustees approved a motion setting the dates and times for finalist interviews. Trustee Lorina Lujan moved to schedule the first candidate on Monday, Sept. 8, from 7:10–8:10 p.m., and the second candidate from 8:20–9:20 p.m. She also put forward interview times for Tuesday, Sept. 9 — the third candidate from 7:10–8:10 p.m. and the fourth from 8:20–9:20 p.m. Trustee Miguel Urquidi seconded the motion; the minutes report a favorable unanimous vote.
