The board approved a resolution to engage campground hosts to support county campground maintenance and operations. Under the contract the hosts would be contractors, not county employees, would live in their own trailer and receive a $500 monthly stipend. Commissioners said the county will have the contractual right to terminate the arrangement on 30 days’ notice.
