At the Aug. 21 meeting the DDA approved issuing an RFQ to solicit proposals and concepts for development of a parcel the DDA owns (the parcel is technically outside the DDA district). Staff said the RFQ is intended to gauge interest and collect ideas — from resident-led proposals to private developers — rather than to require a price or guarantee a sale.
