At its Feb. 3 special-meeting agenda review, Milford Borough council approved a motion to write a letter supporting proposed state legislation—introduced by Senator Rosemary Brown—to provide a stipend to volunteer firefighters who meet eligibility criteria (active at least three years and responding to 60% of calls). The motion was made by Doug Manion, seconded by Richard Provenzano, and passed by a unanimous vote (AIF).
