Council backs Hellabush Park grant application to replace playground
The council approved Resolution 26-03 to support a Municipal Park Grant application for Phase 2 improvements at Hellabush Park, authorizing the mayor and city clerk to submit the project and execute agreements; parks staff said Bridgton is eligible for up to $465,000.

Council Member Luther introduced Resolution 26-03 asking the council to support the Parks & Recreation Department's application to the Municipal Park Grant Commission for Phase 2 at Hellabush Park, including a new playground. “An application be made to the municipal park grant commission in the county of St. Louis for a grant in aid for a majority of the costs of the project reimbursable by the commission upon completion,” Luther read from the resolution text.
