Code Enforcement proposes contractor mowing list for properties that violate weed/grass ordinances

Code Enforcement Officer Danny Grimes presented a proposed Contractor Mowing Program to the council that would create a city-managed list of contract mowers available to service properties found in violation of weed and grass ordinances. Grimes said similar programs exist in nearby Ponca and Blackwell and recommended the city maintain an approved list to ensure violations are abated.
