The Board of Trustees of Mexia ISD approved the Personal Communication Device Addendum to the TASB Student Code of Conduct for the 2025–2026 school year as part of the consent agenda on Aug. 4. John Bonner moved to approve the addendum "as written"; Lisa Lauderdale seconded and the motion passed, 6–0.
